He was predeceased by: his parents, Orby Whittenberg Sr. and Lora Bryant (Grey); and his sisters, Wilda Rawlings, Ann Russom and Juanita Beck.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Derick; his children, Audrey Kim Whittenberg of Fulton and Robert "Kelly" Whittenberg (Rachel) of Overland Park, KS; his brother Teddy Eugene Whittenberg of Risco; his sister-in-law Darlene Ward of Highlands Ranch, CO; and his granddaughters, Vivian and Veronica. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
