She was predeceased by: her parents, Saul Strong and Maggie Lawson Strong; her son Ronald Carter; and her siblings, Woodrow Strong, Verdon Strong, Herschel Strong, Saul Strong Jr., Mary Hensley, Ikie Henderson and Gracie Davidson.
She is survived by: her daughter Victoria Carter Holland; her husband Gary; her son Roger Carter; her grandchildren, Sheri Friend, Scott and Davin Friend (Kasey); and her great grandchildren, Logan Alsup, Cooper Friend, Gentry Alsup and Hudsyn Friend. She is also survived by several great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
