It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy Lee McGinnis of Galena, Missouri, born in Santa Ana, California, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Morris Earl and Adora May McGinnis (Barker); and his granddaughter Ellena McGill. He is survived by : his wife Sarah Jane McGinnis; his children, Melissa McGinnis of Henderson, NV, Rebecca McGill (Jon) of Fort Worth, TX and Sean McGinnis (Amber) of Pleasant Hill, MO; his siblings, Michael McGinnis of Stover, MO, Rodrick McGinnis (Anita) of Stover, MO, Russell McGinnis (Latisha) of Kearney, MO, Mark McGinnis (Josetta) of Warrenton, MO and Jeannette Jones (George) of Peculiar, MO; and his grandchildren, Lee McGinnis, Evelyn McGill, Emma McGill, Eileen McGill, Havannah Moore, Isabella Moore, Shane McGinnis, Steele McGinnis and Fearghus McGinnis.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Atkinson Funeral Home (600 W Wall St, Harrisonville, MO 64701).
