He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Thomas and Ida Mae Sims (Clutter); and his brother Stanley Sims. He is survived by: his wife Shelly Morris Dunkin; his children, Zack Sims of Lathrop, MO, Tylor Sims (Connie) of Lathrop, MO, Dawn Ezzell (Zack) of St. Joseph, MO, Daniel Dunkin (Lisa) of Trenton, MO, Melissa Pardun (Richard) of Dallas, TX and Tara Freeman (Aaron) of Columbia, MO; and his siblings, Karen Owens of Trenton, MO, Randy Sims (Tracy) of Winston, MO and Sandy Meek of Jamesport, MO. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Lake Viking Church in care of the funeral home.
