Though Gerald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Carter and Madge Elizabeth Brown Carter; his sister Janet Sue Watkins; and his daughter-in-law Barbara Carter. He is survived by: his wife Lois; and his children, Alan, Mark (Debbie), Paul (Lynn) and SuAnn. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous grand-dogs and grand-cats.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Centenary Cemetery or your favorite outdoor charity in care of the funeral home.
