He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Vanvalkenburg and Helen Vanvalkenburg; his wife Carol Marriott; his siblings, Sunny, Jean and Sharon; and his stepdaughter Lottie Marriott.
He is survived by: his children, Marlene Thierer (Michael) of Meherrin, VA, Richard Brown (Laura) of Norfolk, VA, Jolene Brown (Samantha) of Memphis, TN, Paul Marriott (Diane) of Little Falls, NY, Scott Marriott of Gallatin, MO, Robin Wood of Gallatin, MO, Shanan Buck (Monroe) of Moberly, MO, Jennifer Rogers of Independence, MO, Emma Anderson of Gardner, KS and Molly Riley (Charles) of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other extended family.
