He is survived by: his wife Serena Ann Lowe; his children, Constance, Vernon Lee II, Tanya (Kevin), Hayley and Heather (Mike); his grandchildren, Aubrey, Bentley and Dixie; and his siblings, Dennis Swires, Steven Swires and Teresa Riggs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
