She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Samuel Leroy and Eliza "Imogene" Meece Allison; her husband Robert Short; her daughter Laura Moss; her stepsons, Kevin Short and Tim Short; and her sisters, Betty Harrelson, Dorothy Bradley and Margie Stidham. She was also cherished by four grandchildren.
