She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernst Walther and Anna Walther (Wirth); her former life partner William Walden; her husband Josef Hoppenthaler; her son Edward Hoppenthaler; and her siblings, Erwin Walther and Herta Long.
She is survived by : her children, Joseph Hoppenthaler (Terry) of Parkville, MO, Jerry Hoppenthaler of Cameron, MO and Jeff Hoppenthaler of Altamont, MO. She is also survived by five grandchildren; great-grandchildren and other extended family.
