She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl Ross and Mary Ross (Irons); her husband Alvin O. Whitmer; her children, Bruce Whitmer (Debbie), Lisa Van Natta, Kimberly Monteleone, Julie Phillips and Brian Whitmer; her grandchildren, Arielle Hobson, Ashley Border, Tyler Van Natta, Evan Russell, Erik Russel and Delaney Phillips; her great grandchildren, Owen Border, Elizabeth Hobson, William Hobson III and Ava Van Natta; her great great grandchild Nyla Border; and her cousin Frank T. Rogers.
