He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Horner and Martha Horner; his brother Frank Horner II; his nephew Richard Horner; and his nieces, Martha Smith and Janice Shields.
He is survived by: his nephew Frank Horner III; his niece Virginia Horner; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Richard Horner, Justin Smith, Robert Shields, Ruby Horner and Heather Burton; and also Thach Norris.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McGilley & Hoge Chapel (8024 Santa Fe Dr, Overland Park, KS 66204). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (5500 Woodson Rd, Mission, KS 66202). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Johnson County Memorial Gardens (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210).
