He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rae Roper of Fort Smith; his children, Connie Freeman (Schoenebeck) and Rick Schoenebeck Jr. (Karen); his grandchildren, Jamie Butler (Chuck), John Paul Freeman IV (Leslie), Nicole Freeman and Bret Schoenebeck (Brittany); his great grandchildren, John Paul Freeman V and Nolan Freeman; and his brother Gary Schoenebeck.
