He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd G. Long and Edith T. Long; his brother Rodney Long; and his father-in-law Sam Briscoe. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Long (Maggie); his stepson Mark Baumgartner of Huntsville, Alabama.; his siblings, Ricky Long (Linda) of Lone Jack and Rochelle Stoddard (Rodney) of Independence, Missouri; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Briscoe (Stephanie) of Houston, Pat Briscoe (Annie) of Liberty, Missouri and Katie Maggio (Jason Burgess) of Cape Coral, Florida. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
