He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis Johnson and Emma Johnson (Johanning); his brothers, Jerry, Johnny, Kenneth, James and Larry Johnson; and his sisters-in-law, Leanna and Marilyn Johnson.

He is survived by : his wife Karen Oser; his daughters, Debbie Johnson of Glasgow and Karla Weiseman (Kevin) of Richmond, Virginia; his grandchildren, Mitchell Fuemmeler (Kendra), Megan Langendoerfer (Jake), Kyle Fuemmeler, Jake Weiseman (Annie), Mikaela Henry (Patrick) and Alyssa Hellebusch (Luke); his great grandchildren, Ava, Jayson, Macklin, Zach, Josie, Miles, Max, Mason and Kali; his sister Judy Morris (Maury) of Edmond, OK; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Johnson of Kansas City, MO..
