She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Jr. Howard and Nadine Loretta Howard (Spence); her son Rick Watts; and her sister Luana Nuss Howard. She is survived by: her sons, Steven Watts and Carl Watts; her daughter-in-law Robin Watts; and her siblings, Claude L. Howard and Nata Selves. She is also survived by three grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
