He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maurice Gryder and Opal Gryder (Cox); his sons, Les Gryder Jr. of Cassville, Missouri, John Farris of Cassville, Missouri and Joey Farris of Aurora, Missouri.; his siblings, Dale Gryder of Mount Vernon, Christine Gryder of Marionville and Kathy Gryder of Nevada, Missouri.; his wife Carolyn; and his stepson Jamie Farris. He was also cherished by 26 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.
