With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Gilliam of Goodman, Missouri, born in Carterville, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2025 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Gilliam and Gladys Gilliam; his wife Nancy Gilliam; his daughter Gina Redmon; and his brother Dale Gilliam.

He is survived by: his son Thomas Gilliam; his children-in-law, Staci and Danny Redmon; his grandchildren, Devin Gilliam (Annabel), Dalton Gilliam, Alex Redmon, James Redmon, Nathan Redmon and Ashton Shepard (Cole); and his great grandchild Wrenny Redmon.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery (412 N St Louis Ave, Joplin, MO 64802).
