She was predeceased by : her parents, Hester Lamar and W. "Wood" Lamar; her son Jerry Hanway; and her sister Sandi Brown. She is survived by : her children, Michele Hanway of Gower, MO., Ron Hanway (Lori) of Lincoln, NE and Matt Hanway of Gower, MO; her grandson Tony Hanway (Rachel) of Smithville, MO; her daughter-in-law Mindy Hanway of Kansas City, MO.; and her pet Buddy. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren.
