Joann Brinton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Brinton of Gower, Missouri, who passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Wheeler and Elnora Wheeler (Anderson); her brother Roger Wheeler; her son-in-law Jim Smith; and her granddaughter Justine Buril.

She is survived by: her husband Ronnie; her children, Lisa Simanowitz (Rick), Deana Franks (Basil), Chris Brinton (Angel) and Chad Brinton (Erin); her grandchildren, Jenise McCarthy, Michael Smith, Jordan Uriegas (Tommy), Andrew Brinton, Noah Brinton, Allison Brinton, Kamau Franks, Cade Brinton, Nick Simanowitz, Brandi Dennis (Edwin), Logan Clinton and Jayden Brinton; her great grandchildren, Ella McCarthy, Eliana, Tommy and Ezekiel Uriegas; and her brothers, Mike Wheeler and Robbie Wheeler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
