He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Hampton Owen and Flossie May Laskey Owen of Maysville Missouri; his spouse Shirley Ann Smith; his siblings, Clark (Irnalee), Claude (Viola), Roy "Sandy" (June), Ila Boyer (Paul) and Ruby Phillips; and his son-in-law Larry Jensen.
He is survived by: his daughter Tracey Owen Johnson (Nighram); his grandchildren, Kenny (Jackie), Jordan, Bryson and Alexis; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Smith and Dorothy Aeschlman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
