He was predeceased by: his brother Jesse; and his grandson Myland Edward. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Denise Friend; his children, John Nicholas "Nick" Coyazo (Korie) and Amy Nichole Coyazo; and his grandchildren, Hallie, Daisy, Santiago, Mackenzie, Jason Jr., Sophia, Mateo, Jakob, Cristian and Corina. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
