It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard L. Allen of Grain Valley, Missouri, born in Braymer, Missouri, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Allen and Lillian Allen (Smith); and his wife Mavis. He is survived by : his daughters, Velma Reade (Richard) of Odessa, MO and Teresa Stephens (Scott) of Grain Valley; his grandchildren, Mike Reade, Jennifer Backlund and Clayton Stephens; and his great grandchildren, Austin Reade, Kinley Backlund and Taryn Backlund.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Royer Funeral Home (101 SE 15th St Pl, Oak Grove, MO 64075). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery.
