She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy C. Merriott and Dorothy Caviness; her husband Jimmy Peterson; and her daughter Shelley Stone. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Burgess (Jerome), Shelby Kistner (Joyce) and Candice Montgomery; her brother Steve Wright; and her grandchildren, Tammy, TJ, Danelle, Elicia, Kirk of Ashley, CJ, James, Jessica and Chris. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
