It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Fortner of Grain Valley, Missouri, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Lee Fortner (Inie) and Judy Bowen; his child Nakia Gully (Jared); his grandchildren, Makenzie, Abby and Hunter of Bella Vista, AR; his son Tyler Fortner; his stepfather Gene Bowen (Sharon) of Worth, MO; his siblings, Rick Fortner (Georgia) of Rayville, MO, Scott Fortner (Teri) of Blythedale, MO, Brian Fortner (Kimith) of Lawson, MO, Tom Pottorff (Gayla), Ty Lundberg of Kansas City, MO, Shannon Hovorka (Bryan) of Lawson, MO and Amy Yeager of Fargo, ND.; his uncles, Dewey Fortner (Ruth) of Kansas City, MO and Delvin (Joann); and his aunt Cheri Floyd of Independence, MO.. He was also cherished by Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home - Eagleville (10058 10th St, Eagleville, MO 64442). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lincoln Center Cemetery.
