He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Nading and Irma Nading; and his siblings, Bennie Nading, Dorothy McCreight and Gary Pittman.

He is survived by: his children, Angelia Hand (David) and Richard Lee Nading, Jr. (Robin); and his siblings, Linda Douglas, Cinda Reeder (Mike), Ralph Nading Jr. (Bettie), Michael Nading (Debbi) and Jacqueline Moody (Randy).

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Grain Valley Cemetery Association.
