We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2024, at the age of 85, Thomas E. Cornwell of Grain Valley, Missouri, born in Emporia, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymon E. Cornwell and Villa R. Cornwell (Duncan); his former life partner Barbara J. Barnes; and his brother Leroy Cornwell. He is survived by : his wife Shirley J. Clesson (Craig) of Grain Valley; his children, Brian Cornwell (Ellie) of Grain Valley, Derek Cornwell (Kim) of Stillwell and Kathi Woodall (Jimmy) of Grain Valley; his stepdaughter Kari Allen (Steven) of Grain Valley; his grandchildren, Luke, Jake, Cole, John, Aidan, Norah, Carson, Abigail, Chloe, Hope, Sarah, Benjamin and Gabrielle; and his sisters, Anna Westfall of Lenexa, Zelma Lary of Muncie and Clara Pyles of Raymore, Missouri. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lone Jack Baptist Church or Lone Jack Christian Church (DOC) and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
