It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilbur D. Osbourne of Grain Valley, Missouri, who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Osbourne and Josephine Osbourne (Martin); his wife Betty; his grandsons, Thomas Rutherford and CJ Rutherford; his great grandchild Michael Reynolds; and his brothers, Chuck and Bill.
He is survived by: his children, Bonita Rutherford (Cliff) of Grain Valley, Missouri, Robert Osbourne (Janie) of Jacksonville, Florida and Paul Osbourne of Kansas City, Missouri; his brother Donald Osbourne of Valdosta, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Donna, Denise, Robbie, Michelle and Gary; his great grandchildren, Amanda, Phillip, Robbie, Zachery, Garrett, Austin, Sydney, Brantley, Anessa, Sean, Torrin and Taylor; and his great great grandchildren, Addilynn, Layla, River, Jason, Ellianna, Lochlynn, Charlee, Jayden, Mason, McKenzie, Grayson, Jordan, Katelyn, Gage and Omari.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Royer Funeral Home (100 Royer Ln, Grain Valley, MO 64029). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center.
