Malcolm Eugene McDermott Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Malcolm Eugene McDermott of Granby, Missouri. Malcolm, born on April 1, 1945, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Caraway and Raymond Lipscomb McDermott; and his sisters, Susan and Murielle. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Marie Quincy McDermott; his children, Steven (Jennifer) of Virginia, Scott (Chantelle) of Missouri, Josiah (Hailey), Paul, James of Texas, Elsie and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Henry Thomas McDermott, Barbara "Bobbi" Worrich (McDermott) and Nancy McDermott. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Newtonia Ioof Cemetery.
