It is with sadness that the passing of Maria Theresia Forgey of Granby, Missouri is shared. Maria, born on September 22, 1943, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Maria will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Bertha Verschoren Thys and Victor Thys; her brother Jos Thys; and her siblings-in-law, Lourdes Doncos Thys and Jim Woods.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Leo Forgey; her daughter Ashley Forgey Stroud (David Stroud); her grandchildren, Andrew Stroud and Audrey Stroud; and her sister Veronica Thys Budts (Rudi Budts). She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Theresia's memory to the Sjogren's Foundation, honoring her experience with the illness she faced near the end of her life.
