He was predeceased by: his parents, Keet Mitchell and Inez Mitchell (Coffman); his sister Wanda Kern-Mark; and his niece Sally Kern. He is survived by: his children, Chris, Aaron, Nicholas and Daisy; his sister Freda Mitchell-Roschevitz; and his nieces and nephews, Faron, Markeeta, Darren, Denise and Jeff. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
