He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Arlene York (Weldy) and William Bransford York. He is survived by: his wife Laura York (Thomas); his daughter Jessica Hughes (Eric (Rock)); his grandchildren, Brooklynn Hughes and Quenton Hughes; his great grandchild Harper Ann Bach of Neosho; his siblings, William York (Linda) of Carthage, James York (Kathy) of Tempe, Arizona, Judy Lentz of Webb City and Kevin Steverson (Julie) of Auburn, Washington; and his pet Amino. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home (312 S Wood St, Neosho, MO 64850). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lampo Building in Neosho, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, it is asked that contributions be made to Faithful Friends or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
