He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Richtermeyer and Fredericka "Reekie" Richtermeyer; his wife Beverly Ann Summers Richtermeyer; and his son-in-law David Michael "Mike" Shemwell. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Shemwell and Lita Jimenez; his granddaughter Sarah Ann Shemwell-Jones (Christopher Lee Jones); his great grandchildren, Jackson Shemwell Jones and Ella Ann Jones; his grandsons, Kerry Robert and Michael Edgar; his great grandchild Leo; and his granddaughter Carlita Leeann Jimenez.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke United Church of Christ (2007 Baskin Street, Grand Pass, Missouri 65339). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral St. Luke United Church of Christ (2007 Baskin Street, Grand Pass, Missouri 65339). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
