He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Meyer and Lee Meyer; his brothers, Don and Ken Meyer; his nephew Russell Meyer; and his niece Tina Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Marie Meyer; his children, Jeff Kinney (Jessica), Lisa Remer (Steve) and Jennifer Snapp (Darin); his grandchildren, Max Motley, Alexis Harmon, Mason Remer, Leo Kinney and Gus Kinney; and his brother Charles Patrick Meyer (Patty).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grandview Education Foundation in Memory of Allen Meyer or the Red Barn Farm Ministry for water wells to provide clean water in Africa.
