We are sad to announce that, on April 19, 2026, at the age of 70, Anita Kay Valliant (Grandview, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Golden Smith and Nelly Smith (Nambo). She is survived by: her husband William; her daughter Lisa Godfrey; her son-in-law Dennis Godfrey; her son William T. Valliant; her grandchildren, Dennis, Logan and Elizabeth; her sister Mary Trefethen; and her brother-in-law Howard Trefethen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kansas City Hospice House, where Anita spent her final days surrounded by love and care.
