He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bolton and JoAnn Bolton. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Dawn DeVaul (Rob) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Douglas Bolton (Janna) of Lee's Summit, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Joshua DeVaul (Catie) of Harrisonville, Missouri, Brooke DeVaul of Grand Island, Nebraska, Kayleigh Bolton of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Zadie Bolton of Lee's Summit, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Della DeVaul, Daniel DeVaul and Lucille DeVaul; and his brothers, Daryl Bolton (Denise) of Olathe and Dan Bolton (Jane) of Thurmond. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, or The KU Cancer Center or the VA Hospital on Linwood Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri.
