She was predeceased by: her brother Earvin Williams; her niece Selena Williams; and her sister Sharon Dones. She is survived by: her husband Deacon Richard Samuels; her children, Bridgette Smith (Kalvin Sr.) and Jarred Samuels (LaTonya) of Lee's Summit; her grandchildren, Kendall, Madison, Jackson Samuels of Lee's Summit, Evaughn and Kalvin Jr. Smith (KJ); her sisters, Shirley King of Missouri City and Linda Williams of Stafford; her aunt Patrie Wilson of Ferris; and her sister-in-law Mavet Samuels of Houston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
