He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo Scieszinski and Evelyn Scieszinski (Crall); his siblings, David, Raymond, Gene and Lucille Sullivan; and his parents-in-law, John and Ann Sullivan.

He is survived by : his wife Joan Sullivan of Grandview; his sons, Mark Scieszinski (Susan) of Raymore and Ron Scieszinski of Grandview; his grandchildren, Kevin Scieszinski of Kansas City and Sarah Scieszinski of Raymore; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Sullivan of Ankeny, IA and Patricia Scieszinski of Melrose, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, remembrances to Donald be made in a monetary contribution that will be donated to Welcome Home Soldier Monument in Albia, IA.
