It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chance Jacobs LCPL (Grant City, Missouri), born in Sheridan, Missouri, who passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 22, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Connie Sanders and Edwin Jacobs; and his great-grandparents, Joe King (Kathryn), Don Sanders (Helen) and Roy Rowe (Marian).
He is survived by: his parents, Ed Jacobs and Diania Sanders; his child Baylor Jacobs; his wife Jenna Jacobs (Smith); his child Briar Jacobs; his siblings, Cheyenne Troutwine (Brendan Moutray), Clayton Troutwine (Shelby) and Cash Jacobs; his siblings' children, Teagan Saville, Dawsyn Moutray, Creyton, Huck and McCoy Troutwine; his grandfathers, Charles Sanders and David Evans (Sherry); and his uncles, James Jackson (Kelly), Jason Krone (Lisa) and Keith Cassavaugh (Julie).
In lieu of flowers there has been a memorial fund set up at First Interstate Bank in Grant City, Missouri for Chance's children.
