It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVerna Kennel (Grant City, Missouri), who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of LaVerna Kennel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin H. Kennel and Lucy Cain Kennel; and her niece Jeannette Kennel Yates. She is survived by: her sisters, Alred E. Kennel (Clifton L. Kennel), Marlene Kennel Kaeding (Wesley D. Kennel) and Wilma Kennel Fisher (Loyal E. Kennel); and her siblings' children, Loyal "Turk" Kennel, Eileen (Keith), Patricia, Christy, Marilyn, David, Dennis, Jay (Laurie) and Chester.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (801 S Market St, Rock Port, MO 64482). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
