She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Campbell and Delores Campbell (Harlan); and her son Anthony Wayne Stewart. She is survived by: her husband Rick Knapp; and her children, Mary Sue Stewart, Richeal Lee Craven and Delores Murray. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Instead of flowers, Shirley wanted memorials to be directed to the Ringgold County Senior Citizens Activity Center.
