He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Alexander and Helen Alexander (Cook); his stepfather Albert Grider; and his sister Helen Urbonas. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith Alexander (Hamlett); his sons, Christopher Alexander (Juli) of San Antonio and Allen Smith (Penny) of Fruitland, Missouri; his grandchildren, T. J. Alexander of Max Alexander, T. J, Kyle Myrick (Kaelie) and Paige Smith (Cade); his great grandchildren, Kamden Myrick, Kole Myrick, Colt Smith, Carlee Smith and Samantha Saba; his siblings, Albert Grider (Brenda) of Virden, Illinois and Linda Graening of Evansville; Laith. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Tupelo Children's Mansion or to The Boys Ranch in the care of the United Pentecostal Church.
