It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam W. Gilliam of Gravois Mills, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Walker Gilliam, Jr. and Dorothy Hill Gilliam; and his sister Mary Kohen. He is survived by : his wife Sharon L. Purdy; and his children, Jason Gilliam of Cincinnati, Stephen Gilliam of Laurie, Eric Gilliam of Arvada, Colorado and Allison Zuker of Kansas City, Missouri. He is also survived by three grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Lake Regional Hospice in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
