In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Sherrie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Sherrie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marian Verwers and Edith Verwers; her husband Forest Samuel Decker; and her sister Elaine. She is survived by: her sons, Sammy (Nicky) and Shane (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Bailey Harms (Alan), Hannah Decker, Jackson Williamson, Brynlee and Addison Decker; and her sister Susie Ditmer (Richard). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Decker Residence.
