We bid farewell to Charlene Patricia Ferguson of Green Ridge, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 15, 2025 at the age of 87. Charlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Paul and Mary Helena Klein (Meyer); her husband Gene Arthur Ferguson; her former husband Charles Zimmerschied; her son-in-law Tim Hardy; and her stepdaughter Sondra Ferguson.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Hardy and Kevin Zimmerschied (Missy); her grandsons, Jacob Hardy of Green Ridge, Noah Hardy of Green Ridge and Mitchell Zimmerschied of Green Ridge; her sister-in-law Gwendolyn "Gwennie" Klein of Bahner; her pet Lilly; and her stepchildren, Paula Fischer (Dan) of Sedalia, Patrick Ferguson (Connie) of Sedalia, Bradley Ferguson (Betty) of Colorado Springs, Shauna Ferguson of Lee's Summit and Marty Ferguson (Kim) of Smithton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Sacred Heart Chapel (421 W 3rd St, Sedalia, MO 65301). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
