He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wesley Jr. and Vera Gay McMechan (Kramer); his son Daniel Lee McMechan; and his brothers, Gene McMechan, Dean McMechan, Glen McMechan, Carl McMechan and Larry McMechan.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McMechan; his son Scott McMechan (Christi); his granddaughter Harley; his daughter Julie Wilkinson (Bill); his granddaughter Laikin Smith (Weston); his great grandchild Elowen; his grandsons, Brady Wilkinson and Jase Wilkinson; and his siblings, Wilma Hall, Stanley McMechan, Marilyn Burns, Leland McMechan, Sherry Feurt and Clinton McMechan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Collins Cemetery West Dade.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center.
