It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Howard Hembree of Greenfield, Missouri, who passed away on May 10, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernice Opal Hembree (Marshall) and Howard Hembree. He is survived by: his children, Christine Hembree of Everton, MO and Wayne Hembree of Greenfield, MO; his siblings, Sue Allison (Gary) of Flemington, MO and Joe Hembree (Patsy) of Arcola, MO; his grandsons, James Patrick Olsen and Jonathan Olsen; and his great grandchildren, A. J. and Quentin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the Stockton Lake Managed Deer Hunt for those that are mobility-impaired hunters.
