He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hancock and Carrie Hancock (Hood); his wife Linda Johnson; and his siblings, Norman Hancock, Billy Joe Hancock, Sr., Doreen Allen (Dodie), Glenda Hancock and Daisy Lou Summers.
He is survived by: his close friend Cheryl Durr of Greenville; his siblings, Henry Hancock of Greenville, MO, Jerry Hancock (Karen) of Clubb, MO, Wretha Huggins of Fredericktown, MO and Nelda Matkin of Fredericktown, MO.; his adoptive children, Jeanie Bishop, Michael and Melissa Durr; his grandchildren, James, Hannah Bishop, Madison, William Rutherford, Jr., Hunter Biggs, McKinley Carwile, Joshua Durr and Athena Durr; and his great grandchildren, Hadily Bishop, Mariah Bishop, MaKayla Bishop, Scarlett Bishop, Anthony Bishop, Kaven Rutherford, Kingsley Biggs and Jalen Biggs. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
