It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Lee McDonald of Grubville, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm McDonald and Louise Zimmerman. He is survived by: his significant other June Lopretta; and his children, Mark, Larry, Timothy, Yvonne, Christine, Barbara and Samuel. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Mortuary (6300 State Rte 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016, USA). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
