He was predeceased by : his in-laws, Stuart and Peggy Allen. He is survived by : his parents, Stephen Meyer and Bernadette Meyer of Guilford, Missouri.; his children, Allie Anne and Grant Allen; his wife Tam Allen of Maryville; his son-in-law John Flory of Lawrence; his granddaughter Macy Dean Flory; his sisters, Chris McQuinn (Greg) of Conception Jct, Deanna Lewis (Eric) of Winston, Karla McQueen (Jeremy) and Alena Peterson (Kent) of Stanberry; his siblings-in-law, Pam Walter (Pat) of Maryville and Mark Allen (Stacey) of Maryville; and his niece Morgan Ann Peterson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the St. Columba Catholic Church (311 Roosevelt St, Conception Junction, MO 64434). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to St. Columba Catholic Church or Knights of Columbus 1931.
