He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Beggs and Lillian A. Beggs (Oliver); and his sister Imogene Jeschke. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Armagost; his children, Allen Beggs (Deneice), Mark Beggs (Georgene Kelly) and Melissa Beggs (John Slinkard); and his sister Colleen Staggs (Bob). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Guilford United Methodist Church.
